A Safe Haven

Located at Thorncliffe Business Park between Chapeltown and High Green, Blossom Day Opportunities supports adults with physical and learning disabilities. We’re open Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm, including bank holidays. We offer support both within our building and out in the community.

Our Facilities & Services:

We boast a fully equipped sensory area and a wide range of activities and equipment to engage and stimulate our clients. To ensure holistic care, we also work with a range of professionals, including:

  • Chiropodists
  • Hairdressers
  • Massage Therapists

Flexible Support:

We offer a flexible “pick and mix” service, supporting individuals from as little as one hour a day to half-day or full-day sessions.

Dedicated To Sensory Play

Our feedback has shown us people want more than to be sat around tables day in day out.  In addition to our daily sensory activities and games each day have a theme running too!

Arts & crafts

Arts and crafts is a great sensory activity for all. We have a huge range of supplies and equipment, and enjoy making a host of creations, to stimulate our creative senses. 

Baking

Baking is a great was to relieve stress, help with mental wellbeing, learn and enjoy communication with others – and the greatest part, the eating afterwards! 

Games

Focused on movements and sensory stimulation, here at Sensesation we encourage and enjoy a range of sports and games – Including Boccia, Table tennis,  Chair aerobics 

Gardening

Come and enjoy some planting, weeding and flower arranging.

Gardening is a good Sensory activity which also promotes gentle movement and has been proved to reduce stress and anxiety and has many other benefits. 

The activity will be adapted to meet the needs of everyone who attends the service. 

Music

We have a range of musical instruments to enjoy and learn. Music therapy is a great way to relax, learn and express yourself!
