Our Care Model

FLEXIBLE CARE PLANS

One of the things that was clear to us when building Blossom view was the need for flexibility. We were hearing stories of respite providers giving people Rota’s for their weekends and their visits – Life does not work to a rota and that is why we offer a flexible service.

We heard of care providers still doing bath days, or fixed activities on certain days and set menus. Some people like routine and we can develop a routine for people who require this or request one but for others that do not reflect their life or the life of their family/family careers.

To ensure we create the best environment for the people we support every individual has their own individualised care plan and risk assessment which is reviewed every time someone stays at Blossom view or monthly if a person resides with us.

COMMITMENT TO OUR VALUES

What is a really important aspect of our care model are our values.

We want to create opportunities for the people we support to have new experiences and make friendships.

We want to continuously improve the service we offer and give the people we support and importantly have fun, social care can and should be fun and regardless if you or your relative is with us for a night of they live with us we want every day to be fun.

Ongoing review

The best improvements come from gathering feedback from our staff and clients.

We want the people who use our service to be involved in what we do therefore at least every six months we hold a online virtual forum for the people we support and their family carers and send out a quarterly newsletter.
